There are a ton of great cars to collect in this 36th Series if you opt into completing the Festival Playlists for each season, too. Looks are subjective, but in my opinion, this is a stunningly pretty and delicate car. Its engine is less than 1.0 litre at a scant 813cc, but it has more power than the later RX-3 and can hit a heady 120 mph. The third and final new car this month is a second rotary Mazda, in the form of the Cosmo 110S Series II from 1968. The version in the game is the two-door coupe, but don’t expect it to knock your socks off when it comes to straight-line speed. Often forgotten thanks to the success of the RX-7 and later MX-5, the MX-3 was an innovative compact car that made use of a 1.2 litre Wankel rotary engine. It has 450bhp from a mid-mounted engine and also forms the basis of a GT4-class race series.Īlso new this series is the Mazda RX-3 from 1973. Until the S1 – also known as simply the ‘1’ – was proposed in 2018.
Since then though, there has been no new production Saleen car. That road vehicle was also raced, and di win its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2010. Saleen is mainly known for its Ford Mustang tuning abilities, but in the 00s, it did make its own creation, the S7 supercar. The lead car this one is the Saleen S1 from 2018.
It features three brand new cars, plus many new events in the Festival Playlist.
